Friday morning Tim Russert was living in the present tense.
Friday afternoon at 3:38 PM EST, Tom Brokaw announced that Tim Russert had collapsed and died.
In an instant Mr. Russert's status went from present to past.
Energy is neither created nor destroyed. Energy moves through people. Tim's energy has moved out of his body. His energy continues to exist even though his physical body does not.
Lack of body does not mean lack of existence.

However, the energy known as Tim Russert continues.
